An Iraqi governorate closes cafes and crowded places

Shafaq News / The police command of the Iraqi province of Babil was directed to shut down "cafes " throughout the province, warning that it might be a fertile environment and a cause for the spread of Corona virus.

The provincial police chief, Maj. Gen. Ali Hassan Mahdi Kawa Al-Zughaibi, instructed all security personnel to "close cafes throughout the responsibility districts as well as places with a crowded presence of citizens."

Al-Zughaibi called on the people of the province to "cooperate with the security forces in closing those places that might be a fertile environment and a cause for the spread of the virus and take preventive measures to preserve the safety of the citizens of Babil."

The police chief of Babil indicated that "the specialized services within the civil defense continue to implement its preventive plan in Babil to sterilize the buildings of the official institutions with high density and market areas in cooperation with Babil Health Department and the relevant departments."
