Shafaq News/ A senior leader in the Kurdish Democratic Forces (SDF) in Syria, Kurdish predominantly confirmed that its troops will withdraw from the border region with Turkey, under the agreement between Ankara and Washington.

Redor Khalil announced to the Associated Press that SDF will withdraw its fighters from the border area of 120 km between the cities of Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad and a depth of 30 km into Syrian territory.

The official pointed out that the withdrawal will begin after Turkey allows   "SDF" to evacuate its fighters and civilians from the besieged Ras al-Ain city, stressing confirming that the partial evacuation of the city has been on Saturday, after being repeatedly delayed in coordination with the United States, as there is a plan to complete the evacuation on Sunday if no new postponement happens.

This is the first time that SDF announced the withdrawal of its forces from the border, under the US-Turkish agreement to stop fighting between the conflict parties for five days to allow the "SDF" to withdraw from the border, without specifying the exit area.

The commander of "SDF" Mazloum Kobane accused Turkey yesterday of preventing the evacuation of Kurdish fighters from the besieged Kobane.
