Shafaq News / Kurdistan Regional Parliament conducted on Tuesday Covid-19 tests for its members in preparation for a session this weekend or early next week.

“Samples were taken for all members of Parliament who attended the official working hours while some of them conducted the tests in their provinces,” Member of Parliament , Hefidar Ahmed said in a statement to Shafaq News agency.

He added that a decision had been taken to prevent the participation of any member in the meetings and sessions of Parliament if not subjected to Covid-19 tests.

The Presidency of Kurdistan Parliament held a meeting today with the heads of the parliamentary blocs in preparation for the resumption of the parliament’s sessions again after a break due to the differences between the parliamentary blocs on withdrawing confidence from MP Soran Omar from Kurdistan Islamic Group.
