Dollar surges in Baghdad, Erbil

Shafaq News / The dollar witnessed a remarkable surge in both the bustling markets of Baghdad and the capital of the Kurdistan Region, Erbil, on this Tuesday.

Sharq News agency’s correspondent reported that the dollar's value soared as al-Kifah and al-Harithiya stock exchanges opened their doors, reaching an astonishing 161,000 Iraqi dinars for every 100 dollars. This escalation marks a noticeable leap from yesterday's rates, where the dollar stood at 160,300 dinars.

Our correspondent noted that the selling price reached a staggering 162,000 Iraqi dinars, with the purchasing rate settling at 160,000 dinars for every 100 dollars.

Meanwhile, in Erbil, currency exchange shops reported a selling price of 160,850 dinars per dollar, with the buying rate marginally lower at 160,750 dinars for every 100 dollars.
