Shafaq News/ Poetry with its colors and its rhymes attended in the corridors of the Kurdish house across Shafaq Foundation for Culture and Media  for the Faily Kurds, hall in Baghdad, embracing  a gathering of journalists, writers and intellectuals in a seminar entitled "The Kurds and Kurdistan in poets Rhymes."

At the beginning of the seminar the poet Muhammad Al-Yassin, gave  a poem entitled "Kurdistan", in he which he said:
The Almighty Creator of the lands

did not want to create you

but to be on the tops of the mountains
as if He  wanted the high mountains

to be examples for the high selves 
On the sidelines of the poem al-Yassin said that the poetic styles are now trying to keep abreast of developments in the world and the public taste, and wisdom was the standard of the ancient poets, such as, Abu Tammam and Mutanabi and the standard now changed. Nevertheless wisdom is required.

After that the writer Haidar Alyaidar talked about his book being prepared for printing (the Kurds and Kurdistan in contemporary Arabic poetry), and mentioned the names of many poets of the Arabs and Kurds, who wrote about Kurds and Kurdistan.

The poetess Gharam A Rubaie gave a poem about Kurdistan and the brotherhood between the Arabs and the Kurds:
Since childhood pain
We Practiced the character professionally
The tyrant stole our rhymes
Thousand questions filled the extent
The answer caught the reins of the country.

Zeinab Khalid from the Faily Kurds Association read her poem " random ambitions ":
Over the generations
history became manifested with Layla Amiriya
Over the generations

Shed tears
And engulfed the hearts
The sacrifice did not exceed its assets Bedouin
Over the generations, has not stood for the following as worthy of

Layla Amiriya But for that Faily girl.

Dawood Rahmani read popular poems, and Ahmed Mandalawi gave Praise poems in both Arabic and Kurdish, as Salem Khumani read his poems in Kurdish .

At the end of the seminar which was attended by a gathering of interested people and academics who have put forward interventions and there were questions from the audience, that were answered by the invitees.
