Iraqi-Turkish borders are inflamed amid conflict of the facts

Shafaq News/ Suddenly and by surprise the attention went again to the borders areas between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey to unveil a new chapter of tension and clashes between elements of the PKK and the Turkish army. The two parties  declared the deaths and injuries in threatening dangers that threaten peaceful citizens in those areas who have suffered a lot in the previous period of the Turkish and Iranian shelling of border villages.
PKK declared  that about 100 Turkish soldiers were  killed and dozens were wounded in clashes between its elements and the Turkish army after the ground offensive on the Iraqi-Turkish border. They  emphasized that these clashes led to the withdrawal of Turkish troops outside the areas of the Kurdistan Region after they crossed the borders.
"Units of the Turkish army have  moved to the borders of the Kurdistan Region after the intensified bombing on it, and we were aware of these movements, which made us to set up several ambushes against these forces in a number of axes  and attacking other ones. " The Foreign Relations official of the Labour Party Ahmad Deniz  said to  "Shafaq  News",
"these attacks were  in the areas of Juakourk, Khnerh to Loulan, Zab, Vaschen,  and Qindil , led to 100 deaths of Turkish soldiers and wounding dozens. We won many weapons of the special forces of Turkey and we were able to expel them out of the borders," He added  ,noting that "the battle is still going on and the air strikes is continuous as well. "
"The Turkish army had been prepared for this process since a long time and planned for intensive aerial bombardment in preparation for its massive ground attack, ," He concluded ,adding that "the elements of our party (Kurdistan Workers) repulsed the attack and foiled it , and we are ready to stop all future attacks of the Turkish army."
The Ministry of Peshmerga in Kurdistan Region denied any incursion by Turkish troops into the region of Kurdistan , but  PKK elements had begun the first attack on the Turkish army and killed a number of its elements.

"Heavy fighting between the Turkish army and the elements of the PKK and the Turkish forces occurred in early morning after an attack by workers militants on Turkish troops." The spokesman of the Peshmerga Ministry  Jabbar Yawar said to  "Shafaq News"
"The elements of the Turkish army did not cross the borders of the Kurdistan Region as published in the media, as the battle took place outside the borders of Iraq," He added ,noting that "The Turkish planes began bombing the missile after the fighting mostly took place on the villages in Kurdistan of Turkey."
The Kurdistan Alliance confirmed that the issue of Kurds in Turkey is internal affair, and it is  not solved by military armed means criticizing America at the same time for its encouraging Ankara to carry out a military strike against PKK elements.
"We are against and reject any kind of violence, , and we are against the use of the Iraqi lands to attack Iran or Turkey or any other country." The independent MP in the Kurdistan Alliance, Mahmoud Othman said , in an interview with "Shafaq  News"
"The issue of Turkey's Kurds is an issue of deprived people of rights, and they always use force against  them on both sides of the borders. They call those who defend them  as terrorists," said he ,adding that "This policy have continued for 27 years and has brought a counter and unhelpful results  .
"It is time for the Turks to change their policy and the recognition of certain rights for the Kurds," He affirmed, persisting that "The solution is not in Baghdad nor in Kurdistan, but in Ankara, and they have to change their policy and acknowledge the existence of the people named the Kurdish people and to give some rights to them , that would solve the problem and achieve security on both sides of the borders. "
Othman criticized U.S. policy in this regard saying, "Americans support Turkey in any case, in addition to that they are encouraging them to undertake military operations," .He urged it to "put pressure on the Turkish side to change the policy."
The position of the Federal Government is declared by  the State of Law Coalition led by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, who said on Wednesday, that the Turkish side has the right to respond to attacks of the PKK, pointing at the same time that the Iraqi government rejects Turkish troops invading  the  region .
"The PKK has launched military attacks on the Turkish army, killing dozens of soldiers, so the Turkish side has the right to respond to those attacks." The MP of the coalition of Law State Abdul Salam al-Maliki said in an interview with "Shafaq  News" pointing out that "The Turkish government demanded elements of their Iraqi counterparts to derail the Kurdistan Workers' Party out . The Iraqi government has vowed to get all organizations that form a threat to neighboring countries out. "
"The government rejects Turkish troops to invade the borders areas of the region of Kurdistan under any name or pretext," He explained  and urged "governments of Arbil and Baghdad to cooperate to remove the PKK from Iraqi lands ."
Thus, between the confirmation and denial and condemnation series of military operations on the Iraqi-Turkish border near the Kurdistan Region continues from time to time ringing the bells of danger warning the people of the villages in the Region who are in daily worry for extra armed operations that may be implemented by the Turkish army in Kurdistan Region, as they are expected to cause victims and the losses in lives and properties.
