"Independent identity" ..confronted by a Kurdish decisive refusal and met by the al-Maliki"bullet"

Shafaq News/ After claims that Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki launched on granting of the Faily Kurds a separate identity, the reactions of the people concerned , began growing as the Kurdistan Alliance bloc rejected this argument, and the  representative of the Faily Kurds in Kurdistan Parliament counted it as a mercy bullet on the convergence  in views plans, but an adviser to President Jalal Talabani blamed what he called the difficult situation of the Faily Kurds to "the young", Kurdish leaders, who he described as "ignorant" a lot about the role of the Faily Kurds in the establishment of the Kurdish movement.
Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said in a speech while attending the second anniversary of the founding of the National General Congress of the Faily Kurds that there must be a separate identity for the Faily Kurds, and there must be a tent which gather them, to bring this component into view out of the components that are fighting for the partnership and the marginalize the , he said, adding that the Iraqis need to  know who the Faily Kurds are  because many of them need a definition, and a lot of the people of this component are scholars in seminaries who are working with the Iraqis and they do not know they are Faily Kurds

A senior member of the Kurdistan Alliance bloc confirmed  the rejection of  the coalition to grant the Faily Kurds a separate identity, pointing out that the Faily adhere to their Kurdish nationalism.
"Trying to count the Faily Kurds as other nationality is  incorrect, and it is  a falsification of identity," but he said however " If this means a deep care for finishing their affairs it is another matter." Mahmoud Othman said in an interview with "Shafaq  News.
The leading independent  character of the Kurdish blocs coalition confirmed, that "some parties are trying to drag the Faily Kurds to a specific doctrine," "This subject is not acceptable because they are a basic part of the Kurds." He added.
"Many governments tried to separate the Kurds for their nationality but this does not correspond to reality," He said ,noting that "the Faily Kurds are disadvantaged by the Kurdish leaders ,so in these circumstances they must be redressed and their demands must be fulfilled ."

The Supreme Criminal Court previously issued in 29/11/2010 its decisions against the convicted fifteen people  who have killed and displaced and deported  the Faily Kurds. It counted  the crimes committed against the Faily Kurds as a crime of genocide.
Previously, the Council of Ministers after the decision of the Supreme Iraqi Criminal Court pledged to remove all the bad effects caused by the unfair decisions issued by the former regime against the Faily Kurds  such as  dropping the Iraqi citizenship and the confiscation of movable and immovable properties  and other usurped rights.
Al-Maliki showed in his speech that the unity of Faily Kurds is the entrance and the gate to give their rights starting with their probative documents and movable and immovable properties  to be real  partners in the country, adding that the participation of Faily Kurds is not given as a gift, but taken by force because their wounds are deep. "
The Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani after the decision of the High Criminal Court in the case of Faily Kurds had demanded that all parties concerned in the federal Iraq and the Kurdistan Region are to follow up all what helps the Faily Kurds  redressing  in all respects and to make available all the means to compensate and return all their confiscated  properties by the former regime.
Thousands of Faily Kurds were subjected  to the displacement by the former Iraqi regime that began on the 4 April 1980, where they were deported to Iran after the confiscation of their movable and immovable, and  probative documents such as nationality and citizenship certificate of Iraq under the pretext that their origins go back to Iran, forcing some of them to change their names in order to preserve their lives and their families from murder and displacement.
For his part, Advisor to the President, Jalal Talabani, burdened responsibility on "the young"  Kurdish leadership, for what he called the difficult situation of the Faily Kurds, indicating that those leaders  "do not know" much about their role in the establishment of the Kurdish movement.
"Young Kurdish leadership are responsible for the difficult conditions of the Faily Kurds after the fall of the former regime." A'adil Murad said to  "Shafaq  News
"This leadership does not know much about the role of the Faili Kurds in the establishment of the Kurdish liberation movement, such that the first conference of the Kurdistan Democratic Party was held in a house of the Faily Kurds in Baghdad, and the most prominent leaders of the party was the Faily Ja'afer Mohammad Karim." He added.
Previously, the people of the Faily Kurds demanded by "Shafaq  News", President Jalal Talabani to activate the work of the Office of the Faily Kurds in the Presidency to help in resolving the outstanding cases.
"There are several parties, including Kurdish stood as an obstacle in the formation of the Office of the Presidency to follow up the issues of the Faily Kurds." He mentioned .
"The fact that the Kurdish leadership having not intending to deal with the current issue of the Faily Kurds ,opened the door for religious parties to exploit their cause to achieve their political agendas of separating them from the Kurdish nation." He added.
"Despite the passing  of many years since the fall of the former regime Faily Kurds still suffer from the new state bureaucracy, and they could not regain their rights, but to pay big money and with hard efforts ."Murad explained.
The representative of the Faily Kurds in the parliament of the Kurdistan Region described Maliki's remarks as a shot fired on the plans  of the convergence of different points of view and all efforts to remove differences between the components of Iraqi society.
"The talk that was said by  Maliki, has been already circulated  among more than one forum but the result is the same in both at both the Kurdish and Shiite, it is our right to ask: Do the statements represent  Maliki as a Prime Minister  or as leader of a certain political party, "saying that" every case has its special interpretation and analysis, and in any case  it is a clear message in its timing, as the eyes yearn for the upcoming visit of the delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government to Baghdad to discuss outstanding issues between the two sides. " Ali Hussein, Faily said in a statement to "Shafaq  News" .
Faily believes  that "The Islamic Da'awa Party, is  Party, long known through its struggle and sacrifices of a large number of martyrs.

" It is also known that the more number of martyrs increases the more responsibilities and obligations towards them and towards their families increase. " He  added

"How many of those dead and made disappeared of the Faily Kurds were included within that growing numbers of martyrs, who are counted as  martyrs of the Da'awa Party?" He asked, noting that "The Faily Kurds martyrs are counted as martyrs of Iraq not  martyrs of  any other specific party."
And on what was referred by al-Maliki about Faily Kurds as  victims of injustice and reviving  their memory in the conference, Faily counted "any effort in this direction, is an important achievement and a noble action." "The thing that we should point to, is that the way in which the injustice and suffering are raised must not create new grievances and suffering to us. "  He added .
On the request of Prime Minister about the Faily Kurds to be under one tent and specific name, (independent tent for the Faily Kurds), and the promise of an identity to them, Faily asked, "Is this identity the identity of Iraq, or a national identity or is it a sectarian one ?",

" This is a new idea. It  can be  an introduction of something new to compel the sons of a whole segment to be affiliated under a certain tent ." He added.

He was surprised to ask the Faily Kurds to have a single reference counting the  General Conference as the reference for the Faily Kurds

"The diversity of political orientations within each component is something normal , but it is  strange to ask the  Faily Kurds to have a single reference!" He stressed.

"Political, religious and sectarian trends are  formed in humans by personal conviction .They  take certain  reference according to what they see from the exercise of its works and actions. The reference is not made  forcibly . " said he.
Faily put another question "What right does Maliki have  to demand from the Faily Kurds to be affiliated to only one tent; at a time when he could not include all the Shiites under the tent of his party (the Islamic Da'awa Party)?".
"Faily Kurds are grateful to the Prime Minister by reminding  all Iraqis and all officials, including the Kurdish leadership  about the oppression , struggle, and history of our Faily sect ," he said  noting that " His Excellency's recognition of the default towards  restoring the rights is a recognition of the failure of all concerned parties  whether they are Kurdish or Arab. ".
Faily refused the exploitation of the problems and disputes within the framework of one component for political purposes, saying that "our Kurdish house  is suffering from specific internal problems as well as others also have their problems," adding that "this does not mean the exploitation of our problems and our differences to export the problems of others to us."
"The words said by al-Maliki were  a shot of mercy on the plan of convergence of the views and all the efforts made to remove differences  among the components of Iraqi society and to strengthen national cohesion," He expressed his belief . "Maliki's words carried a message to the Kurds outside the region that they have to think of names and new approaches, not in the clear approach, they hold which is their being Kurds  (i.e., the goal was to plunder the status of being Kurdish from all Kurd living outside the Region of Kurdistan) ". He concluded .
After these various positions in the light of Maliki's comments which are counted as the first of its kind, observers wonder, where to turn the push and pull process with respect to Faily Kurds sect exposed to the great injustice in the various ages that experienced by Iraq, and when to stop the exploitation of their tragedies for political purposes, at the time when a lot of decision-makers could not secure their demands and grant their legitimate rights.
