Intensive efforts to deploy Peshmerga forces on the border without problems

Shafaq News The Deputy Chairman of the Kurdistan Democratic Party,…

revealed  the intensive diplomatic efforts to deploy Peshmerga  forces on the borders of the Kurdistan Region with both Iran and Turkey, without causing any problems.

Nejirvan Barzani said in a dialogue with the Kurdish site (Roudao) that he "In order to stop the Iranian and Turkish artillery and air shelling and border problems, engaged in intense diplomatic moves and meetings with all parties to deploy Kurdistan Peshmerga on the borders with Iran and Turkey."

added that "The Kurdistan Region does not want any problems or operations of war," he added ,referring to the consequences of this deployment .

And on his visit and his accompanying delegation to Iran and meeting with senior Iranian officials including President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his foreign minister, Barzani said that he had put "seriously" and " with insistence" the question of cutting the waters of the Lalonde with the President and Secretary of State, who promised to follow up the subject.  However, they explained that "water has dried up in general, so Lalonde water cutting  was not a political decision."

Barzani criticized the policy of workers party and the Kurdistan free life party , because they " did not put the interests of the Kurdistan Region in the account at all,"  said he ,explaining that they "provided justification for Iran and Turkey to attack Kurdistan Region."
