At  the time in which  the Committee of the Regions revealed that it "foiled" a plan of the law State to curtail the provincial councils against the consolidation and strengthening of centralism, the coalition of Maliki said that the promoters of these charges belong to the "culture of tyranny."
The coalition of Kurdish blocs on their part stressed that  the provincial councils  must receive larger tasks than those assumed, to achieve balance in accordance with the permanent constitution.
The Committee of the Regions announced the postponement of the districts and counties election to the end of this year due to political differences.
