that a delegation of four committees of the Parliament of the Region will visit Khanaqin next few days, to inspect that disputed area between Erbil and Baghdad, after the development of the tense security and the cutting off the waters of Lalonde river by Iran from it .
"The parliamentary delegation which to include representatives the commissions of human rights and the Peshmerga, interior and the martyrs, will soon make an inspection visit to the disputed areas in Khanaqin and Jalawla and Sa'adia; to learn about the security and living conditions of citizens living in these areas ". The source, who asked not to be named told Shafaq.
"The other issue to be discussed by the delegation, is the Iranian side 's procedure of cutting off the waters of the Lalonde from the city of Khanaqin, and the health effects and environmental consequences resulting from it," He mentioned .
"The delegation will inspect the conditions of the refugees, who came to Khanaqin after being subjected to threats and killings in Jalawla and Sa'adia areas by terrorists." Said he.
