the artillery shelling by the Iranian forces in the border areas in the region, calling for the intervention of UN to pressure Iran to stop the bombing, in order to avoid damaging the joint relations. It confirmed not to take the region lands as springboard for attacks by the Iranian opposition forces.
"The Kurdistan Parliament resumed on Tuesday its special session to discuss the Iranian shelling continued on the borders of the Kurdistan Region in its second day, and issued a statement consists of 12 points, voted by the majority of the votes, with the participation of all political blocs affiliated in the parliament. " A member of the Commission on Human Rights in the Kurdistan Parliament, Ali Hussein Faily said to Shafaq.
Faily added that "The statement condemned the Iranian shelling on border villages of the region with the Iranian side, urging Iran to desist such operations, calling the federal government in Baghdad to intensify its efforts to push the Iranian side to stop its military operations on the borders." He added.
"The statement called for international organizations of the United Nations to intervene and pressure the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran to stop those attacks. It also called human rights organizations to accelerate presenting the aid to those citizens who were displaced by military operations." said he.
