"The percentage of Arab newcomers is 0%.", "They took revenge from Khanaqin in Jalawla and Sa'adia." The Bureau official of the Committee of Article 140 in Khanaqin said.
Khanaqin mayor throws a part of the blame on the U.S. side, "The Americans paved the way for the return of Arabization, and persuaded the Kurds to withdraw, and founded the emergency regiment out of the worst Arab tribes (...), and so they activated the process of Arabization," He said .
"After the liberalization process of Iraq 7,000 Arab families have been brought to Jalawla and Sa'adia, and so the Article 140 became meaningless and Kurds continue to escape, and the Kurdish leadership does not listen to any one." He added .
