Kurdistan Parliament to summon the prime minister for fuel prices rising

in the Kurdistan Parliament, revealed on Wednesday, its intention to summon the Prime Minister of the region to give clarifications about the raising of fuel prices and the crisis caused by its  shortage in the local markets. The committee  denied that that matter was politically motivated.
"A big rise in the price of fuel happened during the past few days as well as a decrease of the quantities of the fuel supplied to the cities of the region which does not fit with the actual need of the citizens and the  consumption level in local markets, " The Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Industry, Energy and Natural Resources Ivin Omar, said to Shafaq.

"This caused a real crisis for our people and in particular those relating to the availability of fuel for their livelihood for taxis and transport. " She added.
