Politicians and intellectuals to reveal the reasons for the failure of federalism in Iraq

Shafaq The file of decentralization management and federal regions returned…

to the forefront in the symposium held by the Kurdish House, Saturday, at the Hall of Shafaq Foundation of Culture and Media for the Faily Kurds under the title "Iraq and the challenges of the central government."
The participants agreed on the following:
*Federalism will force the federal politicians who are fighting in the center to return to their governorates to provide services to their citizens.
* The weakness of the administrative cadres was caused by wars experienced by Iraq and led to the assumption of the official positions by the partisans and  politicians instead of the administrative and technocrats.
* The federal system has proved to be the best systems in the world and the experiences of federal countries have achieved great successes in development and social welfare .

* The reluctance of federalism in Iraq is due to administrative corruption and the absence of legislation and laws that govern the work of administrative decentralization.
* Iraqi citizen bears the responsibility of service failures and political election results to politicians who proved their failure in the previous governments and parliaments.
* The lack of religious references to support the federations projects in the center and south was a reason for the failure of the project until today.
* Lack of education and public awareness of the subject of federalism and decentralized governance.
