forming a Sunni Region , including the disputed areas, calling for the application of Article 140 of the Constitution before the formation of any other region.
"The Article 140 is constitutional article and we are still seeking applying it to solve the problem of the disputed areas," The MP from the Kurdistani Alliance bloc Ashwaq Aljaff said in an interview with Shafaq .
"The formation of any region should not be at the expense of these areas." She indicated.
"Kurdistan Alliance bloc rejects the formation of any Region before the application of the Article 140 and the normalization of the situation in the disputed areas," She explained, considering that as " The Red Line for the Kurds."
Kurdish politicians to emphasize on the application of Article 140 to ensure resolution of all border problems between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government, considering it as to be not less important than any other article of the Iraqi Constitution
