Ministry of Justice received the Karkh prison from the U.S. side

Shafaq The Iraqi Ministry of Justice, received on Friday, the Karkh prison from the American side…

and 206 prisoners , including five of the pillars of the former regime.
The semi-official Al-Iraqia channel in an urgent news reported the Ministry of Justice receiving the   Karkh prison (Cropper before) from the American side and 206 prisoners including five of the pillars of the former regime who were sentenced to death.
The convicted five were Watban Ibrahim and Sultan Hashim, Saba'awi Ibrahim and Hussein Rashid  and Aziz Talib.

The Iraqi Ministry of Justice received on 15 July 2010 the responsibility of managing the first part of the Cropper Camp prison, from the U.S. forces and the transfer of 1,500 prisoners to Iraqi responsibility, while American forces have kept 200 prisoners under management within the prison itself.
