said on Friday, that the country is in dire need of legislation of anti-terrorism law to coincide with the approach of the U.S. withdrawal date by the end of the year, indicating that they are discussing it now in order to make the second reading then to vote on it in the House of Representatives.
The Iraqi Council of Representatives read, last April, the first reading of anti-terrorism bill submitted by the parliamentary Commission on Security and Defense, which includes 20 articles.
The country has seen terrorist attacks since the 2003, with explosive devices and mined cars targeted residential areas and popular markets and government departments and institutions, and they killed thousands of citizens.
