it does not suffer from any problem in providing the three governorates of the region with electric power for 20 hours a day.
"The Ministry developed a plan to provide the citizens with electricity during the current month (June) for a period of 24 hours per day, where the ministry will secure 20 hours while the other four hours will be secured by the local generators. " The spokesman of the Ministry of Electricity, Diyaar Baban said.
"According to the plan of the Ministry, the current supply of electricity will be round the clock during the summer season, i.e., by 24 continuous hours, including 20 hours of power supplied by the ministry and the other four hours will be supplied by civil generators ." The Ministry of Electricity in Kurdistan Regional Government announced by the end of last May.
