Conclusion of the work of the committees of the National Consultative Conference on Human Rights

its works on Tuesday . It was held, the day before yesterday, under the auspices of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and the participation of the Ministry of Human rights and civic organizations from Baghdad and the governorates headed by the Kurdish House as well as organizations from the region of Kurdistan and the  parliamentary Commission on Human Rights.
The National Consultative Conference on Human Rights has formed  six committees: The Committee on the Rights of Women ,the Committee on the Rights of the Child, the Committee on displaced people and migrants, and the rights of minorities committee  and the Committee of the rule of law and the Committee of the disabled.
"Women's Rights Committee gave its recommendations and discussed the plan for women's rights through interactive dialogue among its members, in which the Kurdish House is counted as one of the members  . It had been reached to amend 17 recommendations of the National Plan for Human Rights in the country. " The envoy of "Shafaq "to the Conference reported .
"The Kurdish House objected to the Committee on displaced people and migrants, for not mentioning  the Faily Kurds issue, who were more affected by the displacement than any other  segment within the recommendations, and had also objected to the Commission of minorities as one of its members claming to count the Kurds within the minorities." He explained
