Nuri al-Maliki confirmed on Sunday that the file of security ministries and the National Council of the Strategic Policies will be settled together, but the Iraqia List led by Iyad Allawi denied that there was a deal to pass these files.
The differences between State of Law and the Iraqia List, had been intensified under the background of the recent indictment of the latter against the National Alliance for fudging from Erbil Conventions by refusing to vote on the Law of the National Council of the Strategic Policies within the Council of Representatives.
The past week witnessed meetings between representatives of the political blocs to activate the agreements within Erbil Initiative, of Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani.
Initiative of the President of the region had led to form a government of national partnership, but the Council of Strategic Policies has not been formed yet, because of disagreements about the powers granted to it .
