Kurdistani coalition calls for serious discussion of the U.S. presence

Shafaq Shortly before the date of the withdrawal of U.S. troops by the end of this year determined according…

to the agreement framework signed between Baghdad and Washington , political

activity started by the political blocs to be ranged between the claims out of these forces and the threat of arms, and the calling  to wait and sit at the table around which politicians are to be gathered  to reach to a unified position.

While the Kurdish coalition blocs called the political forces to keep away from negative and tense attitudes about the question of American presence and put the interests of the Iraqi  people above everything, the Iraqi List saw that the remaining of these forces will not yield to Iraq, any benefit. At the same time the coalition led by the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki had a vague position by linking it to the position of the other blocks.

U.S. officials called Iraqi politicians in more than one occasion,  to determine their position about the possibility of requesting an extension of the period and the presence of U.S. troops in the country, but Baghdad has not announced its official position to this moment, despite the hint of the  Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to the possibility that the  political blocs may request the  extension of U.S. troops remaining .
