Businesswomen in the Kurdish House

Shafaq The Kurdish House organization held today Saturday, 05/14/2011 at the Hall of Shafaq Foundation, a symposium titled (the role of businesswomen in economic development) ...


Dr. Sabah Abdul al-Rasul al-Tamimi member of the Baghdad Provincial Council and president of the Center of the  businesswomen delivered a lecture during the symposium in which she emphasized on that the  " Businesswomen were existent  before the fall of the dictatorial regime and they are still existent ,  doing  their role now under the entry of foreign companies, and because of the fact that  the U.S. side had allocated , a proportion of economic contracts  for  women. "
She explained that " There is no defect in the Iraqi economy, but the defect is in those who are  running and controlling it , "pointing out that "Women must be prepared properly to play their roles, whether on the level of the economy or other. "
