The people of Mandili demand to raise 36 years of injustice

Shafaq A  crowded mass demonstration was organized today in the city of Mandili, attended by a large crowd of people from the stricken city ...


A source from the demonstration said in an interview with Shafaq that "The demonstration was launched today from inside the city to the Directorate of Mandili . The protesters called the federal government and the Kurdistani Regional Government to restore this area to be a district  ."
The source pointed out that "The people expressed their resentment for the reality of the city, which shows that it is now only ruins after it was historically  the second district in Iraq ," noting that "The dictatorial regime began to deport its Kurds population to Balad Rouz, Diyala and  Baghdad, on 05/05/1975, It then became under the  penalty of demographic change and the policy of Arabization in the eighties of the last century. "
He continued that "The demonstrators called the two governments to return the soul to this city through its inhabitants compensation for damage and destruction they had been subjected to, over the past decades."
All political parties and citizens of the city from all segments, participated in this rally carrying banners written in Kurdish and Arabic (the people of the city of Mandili, demand  their property confiscation removal) also (we are  still displaced without shelter) in addition to that we (ask  The High Court to restore the rights of 36 years of oppression and displacement).
