Workers threaten to continue in demonstrations for their demands

to Tahrir Square in downtown of Baghdad on the occasion of the International Labor Holiday, threatening  in continuing in the absence of the government's fulfillment of their demands, calling at the same time to make free and honest  trade union elections.
The secretary-general of the General Union of Trade Unions in Iraq Hadi Ali al-Moussawi and one of the participants in demonstrations today said  in an interview  with Shafaq that "The workers demanded in the demonstration of today issuing new labor laws that do justice to them and also they demanded the improvement of the reality of living and the elimination of unemployment and financial and administrative corruption which is rampant in government departments and its institutions. " stressing that "Workers will continue demonstrations unless the government meet their demands"
For his part, the member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Iraq, one of the participants in the demonstration today Ali Abd al-Nabi said  in an interview with Shafaq  ("The workers demanded in  the demonstrations of today to improve their reality of living and provision of services and the elimination of unemployment and corruption in general and return their institutions and the abolition of official  order No. 8750 , and the abolition of the law of the dissolved Revolutionary Command Council, No. 150 that changed the workers into officials. "
Following the same subject the member of the Central Committee of the Iraqi Communist Party  Ali Aliqabi said that "The Iraqi Communist Party support all the peaceful demonstrations, whether of workers or other, and we do not aim by these events to  bring down the regime but we seek to reform it ," noting "The peaceful demonstrations are  the best way of the claim  for rights and social justice. "
