Iraqi Interior: We do not know about arms crossing "Anbar- rebels of Syria crossing "

Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Interior Ministry, said on Wednesday, it had no information on the smuggling of weapons to Syria through Iraq, while calling those who have information or evidence about the existence of cases of smuggling of weapons to Syria through Iraq to inform the security forces. It confirmed that the intensification of security presence on the border with Syria, is  a precautionary measure.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for backing affairs  and borders  Ahmed al-Khafaji said to "Shafaq News" that "our border forces  are on patrol at the borders ,and they  did not hear any case of arms smuggling or infiltration of individuals to Syria, and we hope anyone who has evidence that he provides us with it ."

This comes at a time when press sources say that the Arab Iranian trucks loaded with weapons coming across Iraqi territory; to supply the Syrian regime to enhance it to face opponents who intend to bring down its government.

He continued, "This is a condensation forces a precautionary measure to counter any infiltration."

The head of the Anbar Salvation Council, Hamid al-Hayes revealed yesterday for the "Shafaq t News", that large quantities of weapons crossing into Syria through the border with Anbar province, stressing that those weapons go into the hands of the Syrian people in particular and not the Syrian government, stressing the sympathy of the people of Anbar with the Syrian people.
