Barzani: I am not an Iraqi and I did not admit that Kurdistan is an Iraqi and Arabs agreed to treat us as enemies
Shafaq News/ The member of the Political Bureau of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan, led by Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani, said on Sunday, that "the Arabs" Whatever the degree of their differences, they agree on the "anti" of the rights of the Kurds, counting himself as non-Iraqi, and expressed a lack of faith about the Kurdistan Region as being Iraqi .
Adham Barzani, brother of president of the region, on the special page on the global site of (Facebook) followed by the "Shafaq News", that "when I took the oath of members of the Parliament of Kurdistan in 2005, I could not pronounce the word Iraq after the name of Kurdistan," he said "The seven other deputies have the same thing after I had not pronounced the name of Iraq after the name of Kurdistan."
Barzani said, "I mean I did not count myself as an Iraqi one day and I did not admit that South Kurdistan (Kurdistan Region) is part of Iraq," and expressed his belief that "the contribution of the Kurds in the stability of the situation in Iraq caused a detriment to the Kurds themselves in the end."
Barzani noted that "When Iraq become strong there is no doubt that it will use its strength against the legitimate rights of the Kurdish people," explaining that " Along the length of the history I made sure that the Arabs no matter how they differ among themselves, they agree at the end to stand against of our rights."
