Weather conditions cause the loss of 1248 barrels exports of oil per day from Basra

Shafaq News/ A source at the Ministry of Oil,revealed on  Saturday, the bad weather in the south of Iraq caused  oil exports decline in Basra at about 1248 barrels per day.

The source, who asked not to be named said to "Shafaq News", "oil exports from Basra in southern Iraq fell to 480 thousand barrels per day yesterday after the export volume was 1.728 million barrels per day due to bad weather."

He added that "operations have been suspended docking and departure after strong winds around the ports of Basra, which caused a state of confusion on Friday with the movement of ships."

The wind also caused last October to disrupt crude exports from the maritime ports in Basra entirely as a result of high winds that prevented the arrival of ships to the two seaports
