Shafaq News/ Union of Muslim Scholars announced,on Wednesday, its intention to form a complex for convergence of views between different religious authorities and the Association of Issuing Fatwas.

The member of the Union of Muslim Scholars and preacher of Qadiriya Hadhra Mahmoud al-Issawi   said to "Shafaq  News" that "our initiative of the Federation of Muslim Scholars, working in the field such as Dr. Fouad Mikdadi and Dr. Abdel Halim Zuhairi and Sheikh Ali al-Lami and other dignitaries of many working in the field and Saleh al-Haidari, Mohamed al-Haidari and Taqi al-Mawla , there are figures from the Shiite and the Sunni side as well. "

He added that "those on their way to bring the views and there is an intention to form a complex to bring the various religious authorities and the Association for Issuing Fatwas sponsored many things, and the Union of Muslim Scholars long strides in this regard."

The Union of Muslim Scholars in Iraq was founded in 2007 by 120 Sunni cleric and Shiite reference standard for the elimination of sectarian violence and the achievement of the national agreement.
