Shafaq News /Hamid al-Hayes said to"Shafaq News", "We have never been within the ranks of al Qaeda and we will not be, they are our enemies who killed our relatives, and displaced our families, . We will fight the with all the weapons at our disposal and we will not allow them to expand  in Anbar."He added that "The princes and members of al Qaeda started to deploy deeply inside the state institutions and private institutions of security and I know people who themselves admitted they were princes to al Qaeda and sentenced to the security forces in Anbar, but they were released in exchange for financial bribes, and now these officers are in the Ministry of Defense."

He said "Al Qaeda began expanding again and took the road from the desert of Anbar locations for the start of their insurgency, and they  gathered from Mosul, Diayala and other areas they are currently re-forming  their ranks and strategies ."

Al Qaeda in Iraq called on Saturday Awakening members and dissidents to return to its ranks and  do the "jihad" in Iraq and pointed out that it will forgive  those who turned against it , saying that the United States withdrew its troops from Iraq in order to save their economy
