Allocating two billion Iraqi dinars for a grant to the retirees in the budget 2012
Shafaq News/ The Parliamentary Finance Committee announced on Saturday, about allocating a grant of two billion Iraqi dinars for retirees from the budget in 2012, noting that this amount will be secured by transfers in exchange in the doors of the budget.
A new law had been adopted for the retirees after 2003, whose paragraphs were limited the inclusion of the retirees after ratifying it .The House of Representatives seeks to make amendments to the current pension law for the purpose of equality among the retirees.The member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Amin Hadi said in an interview with "Shafaq News" that his committee had agreed to allocate two billion Iraqi dinars as a grant for retirees from the budget in 2012, to meet their needs and requirements.
"the Finance Committee is seeking to secure the money through the abundance made by the cancellation of the doors and the reduction of other doors of the spending in the budget," He said pointing out that "The Finance Committee asked the national pension body to provide a study and inventory of the number of retirees in order to spend such sums for them."
"The Commission must end conducting the transfers in spending doors during this week or next week to raise its own budget with the start of the meetings of the Council of Representatives." Had added .
The Iraqi government has approved the Federal 2012, last year, which valued at $ 100 billion, with an increase of 22 percent from the previous year, and a shortfall of about $ 13 billion, as the Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed that the operating budget reached 70% of the budget in 2012.
