Representative of the Izidis in Kurdistan denies not to accept the deposition of Izidis in the courts of the Region

Shafaq News/ The representative of the Izidis sect in the regional parliament of the Kurdistan Region, denied on Thursday, the news that talked about the non-acceptance of the courts of the province of Sulaymaniyah to the deposition of some members of the community under the pretext that they are not from the people of the Book, noting that all communities and ethnic groups in the region are  enjoying "equality and democracy." .The MP in the Parliament of the Kurdistan Region and the representative of the Izidis, said "The news that talked about not to accept the certificate of Izidis in the courts of the Kurdistan Region are unfounded." And that "all sects and ethnic groups in the Kurdistan Region have full equality and live under democracy."

The head of the Izidis Movement for Reform and Progress  the Mp Amin Farhan Jeju talked earlier about  a complaint he submitted to the Federal Court to condemn the refusal by the courts in the Kurdistan Region of civil Izidians taking testimony on the grounds that they are " infidel."

In a statement to the Office of the MP Jeju "Shafaq  News" copy " received a copy of it “In a dangerous precedent, one of the courts of Kurdistan in Sulaimaniyah province has challenged testimony Izidis in the courts under the pretext of “ Infidelity” and they not believe in God, and this inhumane conduct indicates the depth of deep hatred that some believe in by raising the agenda of expiation against Izidians who believe in God. "
