Kirkuk: 29 thousand coming families wish to return to their original areas

Shafaq News/ Government local officials in the city of Kirkuk confirmed on Monday that more than 29 thousand coming families declared their desire to return to their original places after obtaining the compensation approved by the Commission of Article 140, at the time pointed to more than eight thousand families coming  to the city after the fall of the former regime.
The representative of the Kurdistan Region in the High Committee for the implementation of Article 140 Mohammed Ihsan said that "29 thousand of coming  families wish to return to their places of origin and registered in the Commission for the amount of compensatory," explaining that "more than 13 thousand families have already got the compensation and the others are still waiting " .
However, Ihsan said that "Many who have received compensation and their registers of identity cards their jobs were  moved to their home provinces are seeking to get back to Kirkuk by the Ministry of Displacement and Migration," noting that "the Commission took the Ministry of Displacement and Migration note of this information to make ways to prevent them from returning" .
with The Ministry of Displacement and Migration Confirmed that it " registered more than 8,500 coming families to Kirkuk, added to 40 000 other families (210 people) brought by the previous regime before 2003."
