"
The Iraqi government has approved the Federal Budget for the year 2012, valued at $ 100 billion, with an increase of 22 percent from the previous year, a shortfall of about $ 13 billion, as the parliamentary finance committee revealed that the operating budget reached to 70% of the2012 budget.
"The allocation of a percentage of oil imports to the citizens was supposed to come from within the budget this year so it was supposed the Ministers of the Liberal bloc that suggest this," Awadhi, the member of the parliamentary Committee for Services and Construction said, adding that "This year's budget will increase in the salaries of social welfare, as well as in the number of those entitled to registration. "
The liberal bloc bloc threatened, on Saturday, of not to vote on the budget if it does not distribute a percentage of oil revenue to citizens, calling to give a share of oil revenues to the poor and the needy,  the modest and those who earn less than 400 thousand dinars, and said that his bloc will find an ally that supports its demand in the absence of the National Alliance to support them.
