Iraq announces the allocation of 5 billion dinars to import inspection organs of the DNA

Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Human Rights, announced on Saturday, the allocation of five billions of dinars to import devices testing of DNA to identify remains of victims of mass graves, pointing to the 200 employees assigned to specialized teams to increase the process of opening the mass graves. The director of the Observatory for the Protection of rights in the entire ministry secretary in an interview with "Shafaq  News" that "the most important responsibilities of the Ministry of Human Rights is the file of mass graves and they have reached through its work in this file that it need more support from the government.
The Ministry of Human Rights announced in November last year, the launch of a national campaign across the country to establish a database for victims of mass graves by taking blood samples from families of the martyrs for the purpose of compliance with the sample DNA taken from bones.
He indicated that the Faily Kurds demanded the government earlier for the disclosure of their martyrs and places of mass graves, and announced and Faily association for an amount of ten million dinars for each person who inform them about the places and the names of the victims of Faily Kurds.
Previously, Human Rights Watch (HRW) estimated that the number of Iraqis who disappeared under the regime of Saddam Hussein in the course of two decades, is  approximately 290 thousand Iraqis, according to a bulletin issued by the Organization after the fall of the regime.
