Parliamentary Foreign Affairs: Iraq is unable to curb neighbors comments
Shafaq News/ The Foreign Relations Committee in the House of Representatives, confirmed on Saturday, that the Iraqi government "can not" prevent officials from the neighboring countries from stating about the internal affairs of Iraq, rejecting any statement about the internal affairs of Iraq issued from and any other party.
The commander of Iran's Quds Force Brigadier General Qasim Soleimani announced recently at a symposium compiled by young men from Arab countries, which witnessed revolutions against regimes that Iraq and southern Lebanon are subjected to the will of Tehran and its ideas, stressing that his country could organize any movement for the formation of Islamic governments in both countries. The member of the parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee Arkan Arshad said to "Shafaq News", "The Iraqi government can not prevent people in the governments of neighboring countries issuing the statement of issues related to Iraq's internal affairs."
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry summoned, earlier, the Turkish ambassador in Baghdad, to protest against the Turks officials' statements which are considered as an interference in the internal affairs of Iraq.
Arshad said that "Iraq today is going through difficult conditions, . Nevertheless the Iraqi officials did not remain silent on the statements that undermine the sovereignty of Iraq and trying to fan the internal situation."
The Sadrist movement led by Moqtada al-Sadr attacked on Friday, the commander of Iran's Quds Force Qasim Soleimani, counting his comments on the subject of Iraq to the will of Iran and the possibility of the formation of an Islamic government as "unacceptable", adding that he would not allow any pretext for the intervention of the country's interior.
