The parliamentary Culture announces its support for campaign "Together against sectarianism" and calls for transfer to a national project

Shafaq News/ Culture Committee and Media  in the House of Representatives announced on Wednesday, that Culture and Media , support  the the campaign launched by a group of Iraqi intellectuals under the title "Together against sectarianism",

demanding to turn this campaign into a national project supported by all the formal and informal media institutions of The Chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Culture and  Media Ali Alshilah to " Shafaq  News", "Committee on Culture and Information in the House of Representatives to support this campaign and support the Iraqi intellectuals in spreading the spirit of citizenship that transcends away from sectarian and ethnic affiliation." The intellectuals, the participants in the campaign  said that they do not represent a political party, not targeting a specific policy, pointing out that their calls for the media and civil intellectuals came to adopt a national speech in their work and non-sectarian.
Alshilah called to "turn this campaign into a national project that contribute to the success and the media of the State, as well as civil and print and visual media."
Iraqi educated people launched recently a campaign entitled "Together against sectarianism" and said in a statement the campaign "(to civil and tolerant Iraq) that the basic objectives of the campaign stresses that respect for the citizen above all else, and regardless of the affiliations, and to direct a letter to the political development of the country's interests before the interests of community in any decision, and review the paragraphs on sectarianism in the Iraqi constitution and modified to suit a tolerant civil society. "
