Liberals" revealed " American attempts" to assassinate al-Sadr led to his abandonment of the Najaf Hawza ( Religious School) and to resort to Qom

Shafaq News/ A leading figure of the Liberal bloc, which represents the Sadrist movement, attributed on Tuesday, the leader of the movement Moqtada al-Sadr being away from, Najaf Hawza and his settling in Iran for the study, to the nature of existing conditions, as well as to the previous U.S. attempts to assassinate him."Moqtada al-Sadr could not take his area of the broad movement in Najaf, and to study, because the movement was restricted due to the nature of the situation and the resistance, and it was not logical that the teachers come to him, or he leaves  his home and go to the mosque for this matter ,because that  was a difficult thing at the time, in addition to the deterioration of security that prevailed. " Amir Kinani said to "Shafaq  News".Moqtada al-Sadr has left Iraq, to Iran in July 2007 after the relationship between the Sadrists and Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, had been soured and  he settled in the city of Qom to complete his  study, but he was recoming to Iraq from time to time to stay in it for a short time and then return to Iran.

"More than one plot to assassinate him was managed by the United States of America, . He tried to spare the city and preserve his security  by not to going  out . So, the opinion was to complete his studies in Qom, until things are settled down." Kinani said adding , "The security situation is still unstable in Iraq and  there is another special reason related to the Sayyid  himself," . He refused to disclose it.
