Shafaq News/ An official security source said, on Sunday, that they arrested an armed group composed of seven insurgents, including al-Qaeda official responsible for the recent bombings that struck Baghdad."The security force could this afternoon in a security operation carried out in the district of Taji, north of Baghdad, arrest seven terrorists, including al-Qaeda leading figure ." The source, who asked not to be named said in an interview with "Shafaq  News"."The preliminary information showed that the group is responsible for the recent bombings that occurred in the capital Baghdad," The source added ,noting "the security operation was based on intelligence information."

The capital, Baghdad, earlier this month, witnessed  several bombings in Sadr City in eastern Baghdad, and in the district of Kadhimiyah northern Baghdad and killed and injured more than 90 people.
