Displacement and Migration: Returning 1000 real estates to the families of Faily Kurds and the inclusion of 1600 in cash compensation
Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Displacement and Migration, Sunday, announced that 1000 properties were returned to their original owners of the displaced Faily Kurds families, while the Property Claims Commission called for the need to speed up the resolution of issues
of the Faily Kurds to help them return to their homeland.The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Displacement and Migration Asghar Musawi said in a statement received by "Shafaq News", "The Ministry attaches great importance to the issue of displaced Faily Kurds after the Council of Ministers counted the crimes committed against Faily Kurds as a crime of genocide," noting that "The ministry held a meeting with the President of Property Claims Commission in order to activate the recommendations of the Council of Ministers on the issue of Faily Kurds. "
He said "The meeting touched on the issue of property claims for the Faily Kurds submitted to the body and ways to speed up the resolution of these issues and in helping to facilitate the return of displaced to the country," pointing out that "the Property Claims Commission decided according to this meeting to consider the issues of the Faily Kurds as summary matters in front the discriminatory board ".
"President of Property Claims Commission confirmed the inclusion of 1,600 Kurdish families in cash compensation on the basis of judicial decisions, as well as returning of 1000 property to their original owners ,the families of the Faily Kurds." He said.
