Shafaq News/ The Preparatory Committee for the Iraqi producers union elections, announced on Saturday, that is  working to hold elections to select members of a new union linked to the Federation of Arab producers, and resolving  the Union of Iraqi former producers union . The head of the Preparatory Committee, Salah Abu Seif in an interview with "Shafaq  News" "The Union of Arab producers of TV works decided during a meeting with a number of Iraqis producers and artists in the symposium V, which was held in Amman, the capital of Jordan, the establishment of the Federation of Iraqi producers, and  resolving any  former union."

"The Union of Arab producers also decided to set up a preparatory committee to prepare for holding an expanded meeting of the Assembly in Baghdad and the election of their representatives as President," He said ,adding that "the Commission has completed preparations for the elections, only setting the date is what is left ."

It is said that the Preparatory Committee for election to the Federation of Iraqi producers consist of a president, and deputy, and three members.
