Parliamentary financial stresses increase the salaries of retired by cancelling luxurious allocations of ministries

Shafaq News/ The member of the parliamentary Finance Committee Najiba Najib said to "Shafaq News" that "the Finance Committee found it necessary to make  financial transfers in the budget of 2012, including the cancellation of luxurious  appropriations for most of the ministries in order to secure an increase of pensions."It is said that the Economic Committee in the House of Representatives revealed, earlier to "Shafaq  News", that House Speaker Osama Alnijaify instructed the parliamentary Finance Committee study a bill to standardize the salaries of all retirees, and to increase the salaries of those who do not receive more than 250 thousand dinars a month.Najib explained that "in response to the request of many of the House of Representatives to increase the salaries of retirees whose salaries  no longer secure the simplest requirements of living. The  Finance Committee to look into a lot of doors for budget allocations to transfer the allocations which are not necessary to more important  aspects ."

The Finance Committee of the House of Representatives announced earlier, that the House of Representatives seeks to achieve the expected increase in the salaries of retired next year, as  it revealed the intercept of the World Bank to increase the salaries of staff.

The Directorate of public pension, earlier, announced the formation of a committee to draft a new law for pensions unifying , including public and private sectors, while it expected completion of the law during the next year, it confirmed that the minimum pension does not meet the requirements of living in the present time.
