A close official to Maliki: America does not oppose the majority government and the absence of the Iraqia will not affect Sunni representation

Shafaq News/ A close official  to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, revealed on Wednesday, that the United States did not oppose the formation of a political majority government, stressing that the absence of Iraqia list will not affect the representation of the Sunni in the government. The member of the State of Law coalition Sa'ad Mutaliby said  to "Shafaq t News", that  "There is  no stressing by the U.S. officials on the government that includes Sunnis and Kurds and linking it with thriving relationship with Maliki . What was said about this matter  was made by the American media, and it does not represent the policy of the White House or U.S. foreign policy towards Iraq. "

He said that "Iraq policy is with the participation of Iraqi citizens from the various  components in the government," adding that "there is a difference between the participation of the political blocs and the participation of representatives of the Iraqi people."

He said that "Iraq is no longer a political process will continue without the presence of all components and it is a mistake if we say that Iraqia represent the Sunni component because this is not true."

Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has recently announced that the next phase will be to the only two options, either to resort to the Constitution or to go to a majority government, saying that the Government of partnership " is tied", as he emphasized that what was happening during the past years of the stage of consensus does not work today.
