Shafaq News/ The coalition of law state, announced Sunday, his support to discuss the application of Article 140 of the Constitution and solve the problem of disputed areas in the upcoming general National Congress, calling the Preparatory Committee of the Conference to include the article with the issues that will be discussed by political forces.Iraqi President Jalal Talabani and parliament speaker Osama al-Najaifi  have agreed, last week, to convene a national conference of all active forces  in the Iraqi political arena to defuse the escalating crisis between the parties in the Iraqi political process.The MP for the State of Law coalition Batoul Farouk said  in an interview with "Shafaq  News" that her coalition is "with the solution of the problem of the disputed areas, and asked to discuss a mechanism to apply the terms of Article 140 of the Constitution in the General National Congress that will be held soon between the forces and political parties", emphasizing the need of approval of the rest of the blocs to put up that article for discussion because this issue cannot be resolved without consensus.

Farouk called the "Preparatory Committee for the General National Conference to put the Article 140 within the issues to be discussed by the political forces," pointing out that "the Iraqia List ,is  among the objectors to the application of Article 140 and the implementation of its provisions."

The Kurdistan Alliance bloc, on Saturday, to claim the application of Article 140 of the Constitution in the National Congress, indicating that the disruption of the constitutional articles, including article mentioned is a factor in the continuing crisis of confidence between the political blocs
