Shafaq News /"Kurdistan Alliance in the province of Diayala, is making efforts actively to reach for resolving the situation in the province," Sayid Talib Mohammed told "Shafaq  News",stressing that "political and security situation has been restored throughout the cities of the province. All the areas and roads that were closed by Protesters against the changing of the province to a Region , had been opened earlier.”"The Council spoke with the protesters and listened to their views as a first step toward calmness,"He also explained ,adding that "the second step we will do is seeking the return of the members of the Iraqia List, to the meetings of the Council of the province."

"There is a congestion between the Iraqia List and the list of the National Alliance in the province, and there are efforts being made by us to breakthrough the crisis and overcome the existing tensions," Mohammed said ,noting that "the presidency of the Council spoke with the governor of Diayala province in this regard and we hope to reach to the resolving  of the issue soon."

As for the news that said that members of the Kurds in the provincial council are worried and afraid to attend meetings in the county as a result of these conditions , Mohammed explained, that  "members of the Kurds attend all meetings, and perhaps some were traveling outside Iraq, so what was said is incorrect," . He expressed his hope that the " Council will hold its coming meeting in the province centre with the presence of all members after the intensification of efforts and the genuine desire that everyone has to overcome the current crisis.
