Hashemi file inflames former issues headed by the media man Hadi Mahdi, to access to "senior figures"

Shafaq News/ Despite the confirmation of the Parties that are the main dynamics of the political situation in Iraq, represented in the House of Representatives, their commitment to the major principle, which is  held by the institution-building process, i.e. the principle of separation of powers, things had taken place on the contrary, as it seems that the standards have been intermingled. Everybody permits himself to intervene in everything . Within this framework, came the issue of charges against Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi, which has become a cause of many ramifications that led to demanding of  opening  many files that should have been opened earlier but the political rivalry and the mixing of securities has caused raising the media man file, Hadi Mahdi, who was murdered in his home in Baghdad last September.

Within this context, the Iraqia List, announces that it has files whic demonstrate "involvement", of "senior figures" in "the killing of media man Hadi al-Mahdi." While most of the blocs confirms solidarity with the cause of Tariq al-Hashimi revealing  an intention to withdraw confidence from Maliki if he continued  in his policy of "marginalization and exclusion."

Then she returned to confirm in a statement, that she did not accuse Maliki, but those who are close to him, .The records of the official investigation about the cause of death of journalist Hadi Mahdi found the testimony of some witnesses to receive Mahdi threatening letters from a close associate of al-Maliki, and they "have not investigated with this known character practices threat against a number of politicians and critics of the government. His  name was not included in the report of the Ministry.” of the Interior. " She said.

The security forces under the Ministry of Interior had found, at the beginning of last September, the body of the media man Hadi Mahdi, dead in his home located in the Karrada district of central Baghdad. Mahdi was one of the organizers of the demonstrations in Baghdad, last February, which called on the elimination of unemployment and financial and administrative corruption rampant in the country.

"the Committee that is following up  the assassination of the media man Hadi Mahdi, got important information concerning the case." Hakim Zamily said in an interview with "Shafaq  News".

He added, that the investigation into the killing of al-Mahdi "is still going through the statements with the victim and his friends," stressing that the investigation committee is seeking the contents of private e-mail of the victim , "we're trying to get the private e-mail because there is a correspondence, and there is a threat as has been said and we are trying to open the password to get some of this correspondence. "Said he .

"There are some joints that we are trying to get, and some files that we could not get, we will have to access to information," saying "very soon we will read the final results of the investigation." Zamily continued.

 

The coalition of state law demanded, the Iraqia List, to provide evidence and proof for their claim of the involvement of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's in killing media man "Hadi al-Mahdi", describing the allegations as a "violation" of the law.

The spokesman of the coalition of state law Ali al-Shilah in an interview with "Shafaq  News" that his coalition "emphasizes that no one is above the law, and if the MP Maysoon Damaluji  had any evidence of any person involved in killing media man  Hadi Mahdi  she should present it to justice not to the media" , stressing that "criminal cases being investigated in the field of transparency and there no way to defend  for any mistaken , regardless of  his affiliation."

According to the MP from the Sadrist bloc Rafi’a Abdul-Jabbar who said to "Shafaq  News", "All those against whom there are documents or files proving    his involvement terrorist actions must be brought to justice," he said, adding that "Maliki has to submit his relatives involved in the killing of journalist Hadi Mahdi or terrorism to the judiciary to take its course, if there are files against them. "

"It is true there appeared some accusations against  al-Maliki relatives of involvement in the killing of journalist Hadi Mahdi, among whom the husband  of al-Maliki daughter and others but  they  remain only charges unless the judge investigate in them and prove their reality.” He added.
