Shafaq News/ An Iraqi diplomatic source revealed on Thursday that five Iraqis were massacred in Syria by armed groups while stressing that these groups carried out numerous kidnappings in Syria, against a lot of Iraqis."Many armed groups carried out kidnappings in Syria, and these processes affected a lot of Iraqi refugees," The source, who declined to be named said to "Shafaq  News" that adding that "many families of the kidnapped have paid ransoms to save their sons .""These groups once they hijack one of the Iraqis in Syria they contact his family or his relatives to tell them that their relative has been kidnapped and will not be released until getting a ransom for him." The source added ,pointing out that "The ransom money is between a thousand dollars to ten thousand dollars and agreed upon between the two sides."He continued that "The kidnapped is released after his family paying a ransom to the kidnapping group, " noting that "The abductions carried out by these groups affect the Syrians and Iraqis."

"These groups, have slaughtered five Iraqis because the inability of their parents to secure the ransom amount," The source said ,adding that "the situation of Iraqi refugees in Syria is very tragic."

The Ministry of Displacement and Migration has recently announced to "Shafaq  News" that they developed an emergency plan to secure the returning of Iraqi refugees from Syria in case of the existence of life-threatening indicators.
