Shafaq News/ The legal committee in the House of Representatives, said Wednesday, that the Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi can not put conditions on the judiciary, as it pointed out that the law allows him to claim to change the place of trial, indicating that the law imposes handing over him by the Kurdistan Region to the federal judiciary. The member of the parliamentary legal committee Azad Abu Bakr said to "Shafaq  News", "Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi, can not put conditions on the courts and demanding the presence of supervisors from the Arab League or jurists from Arab countries."

The Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi, demanded transfer investigations into the charges against him to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, stressing the need for participation of representatives of the Arab League and the Union of Arab Jurists in the investigations, as he pointed out that the Iraqi judiciary lost its autonomy and became politicized.

" It the right of al-Hashemi to demand trial in the Kurdistan Region to consider the charges against him, because he suspects the impartiality of the court in Baghdad, and that the judiciary in the province is part of the Iraqi judiciary."
