Shafaq News/ The U.S. embassy in Baghdad, denied Wednesday, that Ambassador James Jeffrey has met the Iraqia List, over the past days, saying it will not interfere in the differences between the political forces.The spokesman for the U.S. embassy in Baghdad, Michael McClellan said in an interview with "Shafaq News" that "U.S. Ambassador James Jeffrey did not meet the Iraqia List, over the past days."Some media reported that the U.S. ambassador to Iraq, James Jeffrey had attended, on Monday, a meeting held by the list of Iraqia about the accusations against its two leading figures , Vice President Tariq al-Hashemi, and Deputy Prime Minister Salih al-Mutlaq.

McClellan pointed out that "the U.S. ambassador has permanently close communication with all parties, but we will not interfere with the details of what is going discussions", in reference to the current political crisis taking place in Iraq.

The Ministry of the Interior has offered, on Monday, confessions of three people said they were from the protection elements of Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi, their practical implementation of the assassination and the bombing of explosive devices in Baghdad, "with the knowledge and at the direction of Hashimi," . A judicial warrant arrest has  been issued according to  the “Article 4, terrorism” against Hashemi, according to the confessions.

The Deputy President of the Republic, announced  on Tuesday, during a press conference held in Erbil after meeting with Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani that the charges against him were politicized and said that he challenged all the accusations and confessions, which aired for a number of protection personnel.

The United States and international parties are concerned about the political crisis happening in Iraq, and the situation that might follow afterwards.
