National Alliance announces of nonexistence of consensus on the dismissal of al-Mutlaq and makes it dependent on a comprehensive meeting to give a resolution

Shafaq News / The National Alliance, confirmed on Monday that  there not unanimous to withdraw confidence from the Deputy Prime Minister Salih al-Mutlaq, noting that this issue will be a subject to the full meeting and discussions between the blocs. The MP the National Alliance Hassoun Fatlawi said in an interview with "Shafaq  News" that "the withdrawal of confidence from the Deputy Prime Minister Salih al-Mutlaq will be a subject to debates and discussions in meetings within the National Alliance taking view of the impact of this issue on the political process or not," adding "This is dangerous development on the Iraqi arena."Fatlawi added that "the current government was formed through consensus between the blocs and to eliminate any one of them would hurt the political process," and urged "all powers to calm and not to escalate with each other taking into account the post-withdrawal."He said, "The arrival of a request to withdraw confidence from the al-Mutlaq to the House of Representatives does not serve the public interest of the country", calling on Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki "to resolve those problems through activation the dialogue with the Iraqia List, not by withdrawing confidence from al-Mutlaq, because it will exacerbate problems between the two blocs. "The parliamentary legal committee, announced on Sunday, the arrival of the request from Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to the House of Representatives including a demand for the withdrawal of his deputy, Salih al-Mutlaq, on the back of his recent comments.
