Shafaq News / Parliamentary  security and defense committee revealed on Thursday, the "involvement" of security companies  in the last bombing of the pipelines carrying oil in Rumaila field in Basra province, indicating that these companies seek to stay in the country by carrying out sabotage and extortion. The package of pipelines of crude oil that runs to the tankers from Al-Zubair (1) station to the Al-Zubair (2) station within the southern Rumaila field, on last Tuesday, has been subjected to an act of sabotage carried out by using three explosive devices." We have obtained information that demonstrate the involvement of security companies in the last explosion of the oil pipeline, in order to deliver a message to companies operating in the oil sector that it can not work without the provision of security protection for them by those security companies . " The member of the security and defense committee of said in an interview with "Shafaq  News" .

The explosion caused leakage of quantities of crude oil, and the outbreak of a large fire that has been put off in the early hours of Wednesday morning, The explosion also disrupted oil pipeline in the package.

"Large sums of money are obtained by the security companies from companies operating in the oil sector and other sectors and embassies of countries. They  try to prove the insecurity in the country taking advantage of ensuring of the survival of their work in Iraq." Zamily  said .

The oil pipes in Basra fields have been subjected  to sabotage operations by explosive devices through the past period.
